Janissary Dress Up

Janissary Dress Up is a character customization game inspired by classic dress-up games, built around real Ottoman Janissary (Yeniçeri) costume history. Pick a skin tone and expression, then choose historically-inspired headgear: the private's börk, the officer's narrower gold-embroidered üsküf, or a curled-tip barata. Add a forehead ornament — the wooden spoon (kaşıklık) that marked loyalty to the kitchen, or the feathered sorguç worn by higher ranks. Dress in a dolama (kaftan) with a city-length or campaign-tucked skirt, throw on a wool baranî cape, pick your çağşır trousers, and choose yemeni city shoes or side-buckled çizme campaign boots (with an officer's wrapped tozluk style). Arm yourself with a yatagan, sword, musket, spear, mace, or a silver-knobbed ceremonial staff, sling a powder horn bandolier, carry a bronze, silver, or wooden shield, and set the scene at Topkapı Palace, a war camp, at night, or on the battlefield.
