Penalty Kings

Penalty Kings is a full penalty shootout tournament: you take every kick AND keep goal for every kick against you. Pick one of sixteen national teams and fight through the Round of 16, the Quarter Final, the Semi Final and the Final. Taking a penalty is two decisions: tap the exact spot inside the goal you are aiming for, then stop the sweeping power bar. Stop it in the green and the ball flies hard and true; hammer it into the red and it sails over the bar. Aim at the very corner and the keeper can barely reach it — but the closer you place it to the post, the easier it is to miss the target completely. Then the roles flip: the camera moves inside the net, the opposing striker runs up, and you pick one of six corners to dive to. Watch him closely — as he runs up his body opens towards the corner he wants, and the goal lights up on that side. In the early rounds that tell comes early and never lies; in the later rounds it comes late and the best takers sell you a dummy. Commit too early and he reads you and shoots the other way; commit too late and you never get there. Every shootout is five kicks each with sudden death if the scores are level, and the opposition gets sharper every round — better placement, colder keepers, and a keeper who starts reading your favourite corner if you keep shooting the same way. Score goals, make saves and win rounds to build your score, save your run to the leaderboard, and try to be the one who lifts the trophy. Three languages, sound effects, personal best tracking, and a top-ten leaderboard.
